"Kids' needs are rarely "convenient." What they require in order to succeed rarely comes cheaply. To raise them well will require daily sacrifice of many kinds, which has the wonderful spiritual effect of helping mold us into the character of Jesus Christ himself. God invites us to grow beyond ourselves and to stop acting as though our dreams begin and end with us. Once we have children, we cannot act and dream as though we had remained childless."

Those posers have been served papers this morning. We'll see them in court.

Haha, I mean, y'all aren't the only ones who named your website/blog after something involving Tolkien and Lewis and their crew. But I must say, "entmoot" is so much more legit than "hutchmoot". Also, Entmoots in general (well, Thinklings Entmoots--I can't say I know much about actual entmoots, never having met an Ent, or seen any Entwives) are more legit based on the fact that only Thinklings and a few select friends can go. AND, I bet they won't talk about eschatology or smoke cigars and eat steaks. Which may or may not be irrelevant to legitimacy.

But either way, the Rabbit Room people are some good folks. Andrew Peterson is only perhaps the best Christian songwriter alive.
