Busy, Busy, Busy

Apologies for the dearth of posts lately.

At the end of last week, I was pushing a deadline for a BabyLife article, so I was kind of "written out" for the weekend.

My parents are coming through here Thursday on their way to Houston. It's not exactly on the way, but they've missed seeing the girls too much. It'll be great to see them again and one more time before Christmas. Becky and I may even get out on a date, something we haven't done since . . . well, since before my parents moved to Florida a few months ago.

Anyhoozle, I'm going to be busy trying to get the house "company ready," not to mention doing what I can to revive my sputtering writing routine. Consequently, substantive blogging will probably take a backseat for the rest of the week. I do have a couple of theological posts in the hopper -- one on "theocratic discipleship" inspired by a couple of passages in Campbell's The Doctrine of Sin and another on Scripture as defense against temptation I'm thinking about using as my contribution to the first Carnival of the Reformation. The deadline for the Carnival is Thursday, though, and I'm not sure I can make that. I'll still do the post eventually.

See you when I see you.
