I'm voting for Hannah! I love that name. I would have named one of mine Hannah, but Hannah Miranda just doesn't work. Ah well...leaves it for y'all. ;)
If we have an Abigail Guel, you all should have a Hannah Miranda. :-)
My cousin’s son has Asperger Syndrome he really cracked me up when I was recovering from my knee surgery at my dad’s. The dude showed up with all the flavors of Mountain Dew and a new video game for my son to try. He hung out for most of the night playing against and with him on his laptop and my son on his computer. He’s the only one who likes the Dew so dad has several bottles at his house.
He wasn’t diagnosed until he was in high school. So he has some big battles now that he’s college age.
Your children sound wonderful.
You are so blessed dude!
Dude, Evangeline? I immediately thought of Evangeline Lilly - Kate from Lost. You can't name her after Kate!!
Yeah, I got EO's email invite. I'll try to go if I can, so hopefully I'll be there!
I like Hannah but then I have on of my own so I am biased.
Mark immediately thought of Evangeline Lilly too. Would you call her Evie?
And I'm sure some people would think of Hannah Montana if we went the other way. :-)
I think we'd end up calling her Eve rather than Evie or Eva.
Nah, I just thought of your former dog Hannah, not Hannah Montana...
I never, ever think of Hannah Montana, but that is just me...I actually always think of a very sweet, and beautiful little girl from church.
It might be hard to say, "Come here Eve!" Hmmm...
I think there is a real nickname for Evangeline but I can't remember what it is. It might be Lilly. Evie is actually short for Evelyn. Evelyn is a cool name...so is Olivia.
Oh, I just remembered, I think the nickname is Vangie. Gotta say that I don't like that much.
I think there is a real nickname for Evangeline but I can't remember what it is.
I think Brandi and I prefer to use real names over nicknames with our kids, so the whole Evangeline nickname deal probably won't come up very much anyway. We do call Abigail "Abby" quite a bit, but I think we call her Abigail just as much. We never call Nathan "Nate" when we're out in public, but we say it among ourselves sometimes.
With Evangeline, I think "Eve" might be something we use sometime, but "Evie" is certainly a viable option as well. We're not going to call her "Eva" because that's her aunt's name.
Heck, we haven't even decided to namer her Evangeline, so this is all academic. :-)
