Also - the "I love you madly" thing seemed so familiar. Now I'm thinking, isn't that from an episode of Lost? I remember in one recent episode that featured Sun and Jin, they would say that to each other.
Not sure if that's what you were thinking of there.

Nah, De, it's not from anything. At least, I didn't take it from anything, except perhaps a song by Cake we both like called "Love You Madly." It's mainly just something I've taken to saying. :-)

Jared - the first line of your post is the title of a Little River Band song.......significant only because I just took my bride to see them in concert for a combined bday/anniv gift last week.....ours is a week after yours (7/6) and double the years - 22 - which is why I know such things as who the Little River Band is.........Happy Anniversary!
What a trip. I can't believe it's been that long. Brandi and I will have our 10th this December.
I remember your wedding so distinctly. In fact, here are a few memories:
-- Brandi and I are at the reception and some geezer comes up to her and says, "Where's your stick?" She says, "I don't understand." Geeze replies, "If someone like you is with someone like him [pointing at me], I figure you must be blind. So where's your stick?"
-- Talking about the color of lemon-lime Gatorade with Blo and Dani. Dani said it was yellow and me and Blo insisted it was green. I'm not 100 percent sure, but I'm relatively certain that that was the first time the immortal debate had surfaced in my head (and probably the first time in human history as well :-).
-- Talking to Nicky at the rehearsal dinner with him telling us that he's practicing being "white trash" because he's working at a fireworks stand.
-- Staying up practically all night at your apartment the night before the big day. I remember one of your other groomsmen asking how you would be able to function the next day. You said, "By willpower." ;-)
