Can you give me a quick paraphrase?

And what would Wright, a subject of the queen, know of presidents anyway? ;-)

I believe it builds off his stuff on "Jesus is Lord" for the early Christians having direct implications for a hostile culture where Caesar was lord. I think the translation for today is that he's insinuating that many Christians have their trust in politics, not Jesus.
