It sounds crazy, but it just might work. Maybe we can sell the current administration on this sort of financial wizardry.

Or we could just be like Obama and tell everyone how we are going to be frugal and watch every penny we spend, but you know, only after we get done spending this few trillion dollars in the next few years.
Plus you know, if we triple our deficit now, we'll feel really good about our frugality when we halve it from there.
