Beware The Me Monster

Brian Regan is simply the best comedian out there today. Clean, insightful, and funny as hades.

(I am also pretty sure he's a NASA Apollo missions geek like me. Excellent)

The last 45 seconds makes the whole thing worth it. That's awesome.

Brian Regan is worth whatever his tickets cost. If he has a show in your area, go to there. Go to there as quick as you can. Unless your ticket will prevent you from eating food or drinking water or maintaing shelter for your family, go to there.

Hilarious.

Regan always makes me smile, but I never get a good belly laugh from him, and I've seen all his DVDs.

Regan's overuse of noises (like the monster noise here) has always been a tad distracting (for me) from his otherwise great material.

For belly laughs (and almost as clean) I prefer Jake Johannsen.

This is hilarious. I watched the related video on food. I love it.

I love Brian Regan and Jake Johannsen is hilarious. His routine about driving vacations with his smoking mother is one of the funniest things I've heard.

BTW, I had 4 pulled.

nhe, Regan in person is far superior to YouTube/DVDs. But I guess you'd have to trust me, given his ticket prices.

Come to think of it Quaid, the only time in my life I've ever seen a big name comedian live was Rich Little in Lake Tahoe with my parents when I was a kid........I don't honestly ever think of going to see a comedian live - I need to give it a try.

I intend to steal the marco polo line at the first opportunity.

having seen both seinfeld and regan live. regan was/is funnier. that's my take!

nhe - i agree with your take on the noises. they often distract from otherwise killer bits. i feel like he's gotten away from them more and more with his later stuff, though.

I enjoy Regan a lot. Haven't seen him live but I've seen Seinfeld live twice and feel no compunction about saying he's the king. ;-)

"Funny as hades"

...heh.

And I am a two wisdom teeth kind of guy myself...and I can totally relate to what he's saying. Any time I'd try to garner sympathy when my mouth was ridiculously swollen and I couldn't eat anything...people would scoff when they found out I only had two pulled lol.
