"Make a mistake in the interpretation of one of Shakespeare's plays, falsely scan a piece of Spenserian verse, and there is unlikely to be an entailment of eternal consequence; but we can not lightly accept a similar laxity in the interpretation of Scripture. We are dealing with God's thoughts: we are obligated to take the greatest pains to understand them truly and to explain them clearly."

Alan,
David Hart does a great job of taking Dennett to the mat and delivering the knock-out blow. Dennett is like the boxer who falls for the rope-a-dope every time he steps into the ring. He may beat up a few class B light heavyweights on his way to the title fight, but when he crosses over to the title fight in Las Vegas, the whole thing is over in the first seconds of the first round. Thanks for the link.
Peace!
SD
