Brilliance Meets Hilarity

I don't think there's a better storytelling comedian than Bill Cosby. Here he is at the height of his genius, talking about trying to sit in on the drums at a jazz club occupied by his heroes.

I also love the picture of him trying his hardest and failing, and the expert sliding in to his place to "rescue him." Very gospel-y.

Bill Cosby may possibly be the greatest comedian ever.

Seriously.

(Or should I say, "Unseriously. :-)

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who has "Bill Cosby: Himself" memorized.

The very first comedy routine I ever heard was Bill Cosby's "Noah" on an LP! It was fabulous, the funniest thing I had ever heard, up to that point in my young life! Then his bit about the razor - "little tiny hairs, flowing out my face."
