I swear this wasn't planned, in light of all the conversation around here these days.

Today is our youngest son Blake's 14th birthday, and we were at the grandparents tonight to celebrate. Blake's grandmother got him a Tebow jersey, and, well, watch the video if you're interested in seeing the Tebow jersey celebration.

OK, I've got to ask the obvious question - why isn't this an Arian Foster jersey, or an Andre Johnson jersey? Where's the demographic loyalty?.....and you know, the jersey from a team that may actually WIN a playoff game?

Does he already have the Texans jerseys?.......then maybe I'd understand....

He's hugely loyal to the Texans. This was a gift from his grandmother, and he definitely likes Tebow (but if we end up playing them he'll be rooting for the texans)

Oh, definitely! We've been riding the roller-coaster with Blake this year between joy (at each win) and despair (when Matt Shaub went down) to more despair (when Matt Linert [sic] went down) to joy (when T.J. Yates did well, or as Blake calls him "The next, next Tom Brady") - hah!

Man, it doesn't take much to get that kid to perform-anything the onlookers called-out, he happily obliged. Loved it.
