- C. S. Lewis
I've been doing professional photography for, oh, 15 years or so. In that time I've shot a few "celebs." Not in the Hollywood Star type of way, but more in the Margaret Thatcher vein.
I was thinking random thoughts this a.m., and I thought to myself, Who is the most difficult "star" I've ever shot?
The answer was easy: Ed Stetzer.
Dude has this funky way of stepping back-and-forth when talking at a podium. Back-and-forth, back-and-forth, back-and-forth. I've never seen anything like it. Once I got him in focus, he'd step backward or forward. Drove me nuts. It was worse than shooting sports.
So instead of getting a nice, crisp, tack-sharp image like this:
I'd get something more like this:
Stop. Moving. Ed. Stop!!!!
