Took Grace to a "sneak peek" of kindergarten at the elementary school today. She got to ride the bus, check out the library, and have milk and cookies in the cafeteria. She loved it and can't wait to start school in August. Dada wishes he could make her stay 4 forever.
Blast from the past:
This is Macy riding the bus for the same kindergarten sneak peek thing back in 2006.

Heh.
One thing I just noticed is that they apparently both inexplicably chose the emergency exit window seat.
Wonder if that means something.
Daddy needs to be prepared for that first day. I was giving a co-worker a pep talk for this fall she enrolled her son in pre-K just yesterday. She had tears in her eyes when she told me.
Milly, I know. I'm trying not to think about it too much.
There's no in between for me either. When Macy, our first, had her first day at school, it didn't go too well for me emotionally.
Grace is our baby, so . . . yeah. I will take tissues.
You can't keep them little any more than I could keep you and Jeremy little.(and I wished it many times) But if I could have, then I wouldn't have the two most beautiful granddaughters in the world. Watch out world, here comes GRACIE!;-)
My 16 year old (middle child) daughter told me yesterday that's she's "going away" to college - no desire to stay local - it made me sad - but she's done well enough to create options for herself, and the good options aren't local........move to New England where all the good colleges are, so Grace can't use that line on you...........on another front - Jared - I mentioned both Tim Keller and "A Painted Veil" to you in threads long ago before you sang their praises - I know I wasn't the only one to mention them, but I haven't steered you wrong yet! - Here's another movie MUST SEE - "Lars and the Real Girl" - see it (if you haven't) and blog about Christian Community - a great film.....
their faces say a lot about how different their personalities are!
