The trailer for that new hit comedy, The Shining. Fun for the whole family this Christmas!
I love these trailers that reverse the genre of the original. (This one's great and so is the one that turns Mary Poppins into a horror movie. The Jaws rom-com isn't bad either.)
Part of what I like about it is that it shows the trailer formula. Each genre has it's own formula for trailers, and these things brilliantly expose what the formula is...."but now" being the essential phrase for the comedy. And "in a world" being the essential phrase for an action movie.
