But even I know that .002 dollars and .002 cents are different.

Great Lewis reference!

What's actually sad is that if I taped conversations with my clients, customers, employees, management, etc., I could have made hundreds of similar videos.

It's as I've said before - the level of basic financial education in this country is horrible. Any politician trying to have a substantive public discussion about taxes, entitlements, spending, etc. is doomed to end up with the same exasperated tone as this guy.

But then, even our new treasury secretary can't calculate his taxes correctly.

I love when he gets to the manager and she tracks with him until he compares the $.002 and .002 cents.

My favorite line: It's obviously a difference of opinion.

Classic.

Last week my daughter had to attend a church servie at her place of employment. The thing that stood out in her mind about the sermon? The pastor's repeated references to Daniel being "10x better than the other men in the king's court. That means 10% better." Over and over again. She repeated it to her 11 year old sister who immediately caught the mistake. It's basic sixth grade math, but I guess, in their calling, pastors don't regularly think about things like percentages. Well, unless of course it's about tithing. The 10% concept, they've got down. :)

Jared,

I found the original full recording (26 minutes) and it's even more frustrating.

Amazing.
