- Rick Warren
. . . to Jeff Fisher, coach of the formerly 12-1 Tennessee Titans.
a) For inexplicably passing up the opportunity to kick a very make-able field goal and instead to go for it on fourth and three. If you'd made that one (and you would have) the Titans would have been up two points on the Texans with less than two minutes to go. In other words, chances are you would have won.
and . . .
b) For not putting VY in the game when Kerry Collins was absolutely stinking up the place. VY can beat the Texans with his eyes closed, so thanks for not using him.
I'd also like to thank the Texans for finally beating the Titans, for achieving their first ever four-game winning streak, and for giving us a chance to win out and actually improve on last year's record. We're now 7-7 and could go 9-7 if we keep playing at this level.
Andre Johnson and Steve Slayton . . . thanks for the clutch plays in go-time.
Texans Defense - you have been playing out of your mind the past few weeks, and are becoming a defensive squad that other teams fear. Awesome job.
Good game Texans! You made your mistakes, but made enough good plays to beat a Titans team that was only firing on about two cylinders today, for some weird reason. We will take it!

Not kicking that go-ahead field goal was a really poor call, and unlike him.
I don't know why Fisher would be attacked for anything in that he's taken a Kerry Collins' led team straight into the playoffs, possibly as a number one seed. Those people need to get a life. Maybe he should have kicked the three, but trust the guy who got you there and don't turn on him the second things aren't rosy.
As for the Texans, they might actually go 9-3 to finish the season. That's quite the finish, to say the least, and proof that they could be playoff-bound next year. Kubiak is finally coming into his own. If they can pick up someone like Brian Orakpo to mirror not-Vince-Young on the defense, they would shut things down next year - easy.
Or maybe pick up another receiving threat like Crabtree or Dez Bryant to take any and all pressure off of AJ. I think Houston might be seeing the faintness of a light at the end of this tunnel of mediocrity that has plagued this franchise from its inception.

What a good game. I can't believe how good Slaton and Andre are. I mean, Slaton, as small as he is, either moves the pile three yards every time, or he does some voo doo magic and reappears on the other side of the pile and runs for another ten yards. And Andre isn't even human, that dude's a freaking beast.
