"We are faced, then, with a frightening alternative. This man we are talking about either was (and is) just what He said or else a lunatic, or something worse. Now it seems to me obvious that He was neither a lunatic nor a fiend; and consequently, however strange or terrifying or unlikely it may seem, I have to accept the view that He was and is God. God has landed on this enemy-occupied world in human form."

I'm A Gmail

Gmail has officially conquered all areas of my email life. Two days ago I set it up at work to run my work email through. I had been previously using Thunderbird, but the search function on Thunderbird is, well, pathetic. Gmail has officially solved that problem for me since you can set up a domain email to run through Gmail and, thanks to the fact that Gmail doesn't attach any advertising to emails, no one's the wiser.

Gmail is the Mac of email programs, with one key distinction (and this distinction makes all the difference): it's free.

How do you set up a domain? Don't all your emails say send by xyz@gmail.com on behalf of xyz@domain.com?

Settings >>

Get Mail From Other Accounts

Just make sure to use the option to reply as the email address that the original message was sent to. It doesn't say anything about Gmail in the outgoing messages.

If you go into the details it does show that it was mailed by Gmail, but the address would show the domain name email. I don't think most people would a) check the details to see who it was mailed by and b) even care if they found out.

:-)

I am loving that domain email function of Gmail. Discovered it a few weeks ago and it is great since I design and manage a few websites and need to have different admin accounts for each one.

Speaking of my websites, I think I told you this, but if I didn't - I started an online free magazine covering classic Christian Alternative music from the 80s and 90s. Pretty obscure stuff in there, but we also cover U2 and King's X :) downthelinezine dot com.

Cool, Crossbow. I checked out your website. I'll drop by often.
