"We are faced, then, with a frightening alternative. This man we are talking about either was (and is) just what He said or else a lunatic, or something worse. Now it seems to me obvious that He was neither a lunatic nor a fiend; and consequently, however strange or terrifying or unlikely it may seem, I have to accept the view that He was and is God. God has landed on this enemy-occupied world in human form."

Good for Helen Thomas.
Following a testy exchange during today’s briefing with White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, veteran White House correspondent Helen Thomas told CNSNews.com that not even Richard Nixon tried to control the press the way President Obama is trying to control the press.
“Nixon didn’t try to do that,” Thomas said. “They couldn’t control (the media). They didn’t try.
“What the hell do they think we are, puppets?” Thomas said. “They’re supposed to stay out of our business. They are our public servants. We pay them.”

No kidding. the words "good for Helen Thomas" shattered my paradigm.
The media won't wake up. The newssource for this story proves that. I didn't know who CNS news was, so I looked at their website. Founded by Brent Bozell (conservative commentator and the major voice in our country about liberal media bias). I suspect this may be the only news outlet reporting on this story.
In fact, this sort of story is right up their alley. But no one else's.

Helen Thomas is on the *right* side of an issue?
My head is going to explode.
