"Membership in the family of God is neither inconsequential or something to be casually ignored. The church is God's agenda for the world. Jesus said, "I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it." The church is indestructable and will exist for eternity. It will outlive this universe, and so will your role in it."

That was actually pretty funny. He's obviously watched Glen Beck a lot :)

I think we all have to be able to laugh at ourselves, I hope Glen gets a kick out of this.

This is pretty spot on . . .

I also like Jason Sudekis' impression of Beck on SNL. He doesn't spend/have the time that Jon does here, but they capture the essence of Beck in 30-second spots . . .

On a related note - does anyone believe Beck is part of the news apparatus of Fox News? He's obviously a commentator and the idea that he is supposed to be viewed as a news anchor or reporter doesn't pass the smell test.

So why does the White House try to treat him as such and spend so much time crafting a response to him, attempting to disqualify his entire network?

Glenn Beck IS a parody. I didn't think it was possible to parody a parody but I'm happy to be corrected! Carry on Sir Stewart.

Personally, Glenn Beck's show is a waste of air time.

In the words of Larry the Cable Guy, "I don't care who you are. That's funny right there."

Glen, like GW Bush and unlike Obama, has even said on air and on Twitter that he thought it was very funny. He is a bigger man with a much better sense of humor than Obama and he is certainly not as arrogant. That "waste of airtime" was the main reason that the radical czar Van Jones is no longer an advisor and confidante of the POTUS.
