"Membership in the family of God is neither inconsequential or something to be casually ignored. The church is God's agenda for the world. Jesus said, "I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it." The church is indestructable and will exist for eternity. It will outlive this universe, and so will your role in it."

Leinart Pwned, Part Deux

It's so, so pretty.

Thanks to the magic of the Interwebs, and a lead from a Twitter friend, Beck and I got to watch the game online despite being out of viewing area. Our screams at this final moment frightened our first grader to tears.

Wild Card, baby. Wile-duh. Car-duh.

Poor Kurt Warner looks lost. Someone should share the gospel with him.

?

Warner's a brother.

I know. I was trash talking. Because when it cuts to him, he looks "lost."

VYs captured magic in a bottle recently. Amazing. I'll tell you, as much as we like Mario, it's depressing to see VY doing so well, and Reggie Bush running for the best team in the NFL, and know we coulda . . .

The real test is next week, against the Colts. But the Colts are certainly not invincible (no pun intended). They've come from behind a lot. Even my win-challenged Texans were beating them for a half last Sunday. The Titans can do it, and are on a roll. If they defeat Indy, I'll agree: Wildcard.

A mixed-metaphor not heretofore known to make any sense. I'm losing it . . .

*sigh*

The Titans and the Bengals are the best stories in the AFC (and probably the NFL) this year. I can root for both, since the Falcons are in the NFC and don't play either.

I was sad to hear that Jeff Fisher's job was in danger 5 weeks ago, so this has been great - he deserves to have a "Don Shula/Chuck Knoll" type tenure in Nashville - he's in that mold and he's a good guy.

That was pretty sweet!

This play/comeback is the type of thing that can propel a team to the next level. I don't think enough can be said about the value of a team that knows they're going to win, regardless of the situation. Even if they are down a couple of touchdowns this weekend, you know they'll be fighting as hard as ever.

On the flip side, even though Warner wasn't playing, this type of play can absolutely kill momentum, which is difficult to create in the NFL. Anything the Cards had going for them is gone, and they're starting at zero (if not in the hole).

What team in the NFL would want to see the Titans on their remaining schedule? (None - not even the Saints)

Any predictions for the game this weekend?

I feel like I have to predict a Titans win, so I'll go with 30-27.

Did you see the Saints play on Monday night? I doubt that they are afraid of any team in the NFL right now. The Titans are hot. The Saints are nuclear-bomb, surface of the sun hot

No idea on the game this weekend, but I'll go ahead and predict a Titans win, 35-31. The Colts keep winning, but they haven't been dominating. They are due for a loss.

I think both of you are seriously underestimating the defenses of BOTH the Colts and the Titans.

12. De - 12/04/2009 1:57 pm CST

Yeah, you're probably right.
