"Membership in the family of God is neither inconsequential or something to be casually ignored. The church is God's agenda for the world. Jesus said, "I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it." The church is indestructable and will exist for eternity. It will outlive this universe, and so will your role in it."

Moot at IHOP

Here we are, closing out Moot at IHOP. It's been a good one, diminished only by the absence of Bird.

Stroke has made it all the way with us - well done!

There's some more Mooting to be done. We usually get somewhat of a second wind over the pancakes.

Bill,
When you wake up, you need to give us a complete roster/roll call of who was there. Because I'm pretty sure I messed that part up. :-)

3. Bill - 12/23/2010 10:14 am CST

Awake!

Roll Call:
Jared - the host, master of the feast, hub of the Thinklings, Gospel Puma

Stroke - brother of Jared, first time completer of the all-night Marathon of Moot. Yay Stroke!

Rob-T - honorary Thinkling, graphics designer of the Seven Samurai header. Soccer dad.

Andrew - First Mootable second-generation Thinkling. The only one of us who could hang with Jared, mano y mano, in an extended discussion of literature. Recipient of the creeps via Blo's ghost stories.

Blo . . . Blo was there! . . . at least I'm pretty sure Blo was there . . .

Me - groggy (as of this writing), fat, dumb and happy

We missed you too, Bird. It wasn't the same without you.

Merry Christmas to my favorite blogging crew. Happy to know you mooted. Good times.

Y'all are a fun bunch; that's my kind of get-together. I hope the Moot and recent increased activity on this blog re-inspires the Thinklings to keep it up in 2011. You can't exactly recreate those early days but it'd be a shame to see this blog fade away.

We need to know if we will be seeing the highlights.
