Happy New Year everyone!
I'm absolutely horrible at predicting the future. I know God will be faithful. Beyond that, I don't have specifics.
But what about you? Do you have any predictions? If so, leave them in the comments. Your prediction can be about anything: world events, politics, the church, sports, the economy, etc. Also, are you "glass half full" or "glass half empty" about 2010?

My glass is full because of Christ
Mark 6: 4-6
Jesus said to them, "Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor." He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their lack of faith.
Now that is amazing. He could not do any miracles, now that blows my mind. It doesn't say He wouldn't do any miracles, it says He couldn't do any miracles. And He was stunned... flabbergasted by their lack of faith. I wonder how many times Christ has been stymied in my circumstances because of my lack of faith. Now I'm not talking about the name it and claim it type of positive profession, no, I believe God is always working on my behalf, and I'm the one who fades and not Him.
Matthew 9:28-29
When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?"
"Yes, Lord," they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you"
What a turn of events, from His home town where he could only heal a few sick people, to restoring sight to two blind men. I get it, I know how faith works, I really do, I know these verses, it's logged into a fold in my gray-matter. But I go into default mode when my faith is tested, especially in certain areas. I go back to the previous setting before Christ was a reality to me, it's an unfortunate curse, I become like one of the citizens of Nazareth.
Thanks and praise be to God for His Word, and brothers and sisters in the Lord, that strengthen and encourage me to walk in the faith of God. We need each other, we really do, we are a body, we function best as a living organism, with each part providing for the needs of each other, and building up God's faith in one another.

My prediction my not come to pass in 2010 but I predict that the U.S. will turn against Israel as will all countries, and God will defeat all of us ,and restore Israel. Christians will be fed and clothed so we will have nothing to worry about! We will rule with Jesus! I would say my glass is full!
