Here's the latest The Houston Chronicle's SciGuy blog:
This landfall location also increases the likelihood of hurricane-force winds across more, if not most, of Harris County. I'll try to update the estimated storm surge and inland wind speeds later this evening.
I'm looking to find a bright side in all of this for the Houston area. I'll let you know if I find one.
