Have you ever heard that? Man, I've been hearing that saying all my life.
There are all sorts of descriptions that follow that intro. Here's two I heard recently:
Those who keep score and those who don't.
Those who think and those that feel.
Respond in comments.
In the spirit of this post, you have a choice.
There are those people who will suggest other "two kinds of people" sayings and those who will tell us what kind of person they are based on one (or all) of the suggetions.
Which one are you?

There are two kinds of people in this world...
pirates and ninjas...
There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
Or alternatively, there are 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand tertiary, those who don't and those who think it's binary.
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who think, "there are two types of people in the world," and everyone else.
PWF stole mine - my absolute favorite "two kinds of people . . ." statement.
But I'm a nerd
(and I have a binary clock on my desk).
"Those who think and those that feel."
When it comes to faith, I think I'm one of those who feel. I have tried to process faith in my head and live out of that and it hits me as being insufficient and hollow. One of the reasons why I cannot fully consider myself an evangelical is because of the way the Scriptures are elevated to a degree that it becomes an end to itself. Knowing God is entirely contingent on my knowing the Bible. This is problematic because we know that there are many approaches or theological systems and they compete for how a passage is interpreted. My honest answer to the question of why I believe is that I have met Christ (through the pictures painted of Him in the Scriptures) and I am drawn to Him and I place everything (my hopes, faith, frustrations, etc) on Him.
There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who went to Baylor and those who did not.
I didn't go to Baylor.
I don't like to pigeon hole or be pigeon holed, so, option 3?
i.e. - I keep score at Little League Games but not when I go to an MLB game........and, last time I checked, I think AND feel
Tthose who think the liquid in the bottle is green.

There are two kinds of people in this world those who are MoonPiest and those who haven’t seen how great it is.
There are two kinds of people in this world those who like word association and those who debate yellgree.
There are two kinds of people in this world and Jesus died to save them :-}
There are two types of men in this world: Andrew and everybody else.
just want to remind everyone of a great movie:
Dr. Leo Marvin: Are you married?
Bob Wiley: I'm divorced.
Dr. Leo Marvin: Would you like to talk about that?
Bob Wiley: There are two types of people in this world: Those who like Neil Diamond, and those who don't. My ex-wife loves him.
There are two kinds of people in the world: Those who are one kind of person, and those who are the other. Those who are one kind think, feel, act, or believe a certain way. Those who are the other do not.
It's as simple as that.
Just for clarification:
The think vs. feel comparison is mine. It's an observation about personality types. It has nothing to do with intelligence. Some people are heart people, and others are head people. Neither is better than the other in my opinion. The world needs both.
Just for one (of many) example, you can ask some people, "what do you think about this?" and whatever their answer is actually based on their feelings. That doesn't mean that facts don't influence their feelings, but that's how they interpret the world.
Conversely if you ask a thinking/cerebral/brain-leading type person, "how do you feel about _____?" They'll look at you like a cow staring at a new gate. They're thinking "How I feel is irrelevant. What matters is what I think is the best option based on the facts."
As for the "keeping score" comparison, that was directly used by a friend of mine in reference to relationships. (Though I think it applies to games and sports as well.) In our context, the "keeping score" type of person tracks the relationship based on how much each person does. THis is the sort of person who notices that they buy lunch more than you do. Or that they are always the one to call. They know how much good and bad you do, and they remember.
In this context, a score-keeper is NOT a good thing. At least, I don't think so.
But someone has to keep score when we play cards. And I always make sure it's someone else. :)
There are two kings of people in the world:
Those who live to eat,
and those who eat to live.
I eat to live.
There are two kinds of people in this world:
those who divide this world into two kinds of people and those who don't.
:)
There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who continue to search for intelligent life on earth, and those who have given up.
