"People have fallen into a foolish habit of speaking of orthodoxy as something heavy, humdrum, and safe. There never was anything so perilous or so exciting as orthodoxy."

- G.K. Chesterton

She leaves the titanic behind pretty quick, and moves on to some very "damning" sounding criticism of the NIV and NASB. (Involving the NIV calling Jesus, Satan, in Isaiah)I can totally see how someone could believe this, all this.

Totally. Hook, line and sinker. and that's the scary part to me.

Oh. I have been literally cornered by a woman just like her.

It started out as what seemed to me to be an innocent conversation about raising children.

Suddenly, my family and I were doomed to hell for not being KJV only.

Not even saying that I still DO read my KJV, because that is the translation from my childhood, was enough. It must be ONLY.

I feel so sorry for those poor folks who don't speak English. Whatever should they do with the translations in their native tongue?

It IS scary. And I hate to admit to how much time I spend following this sort of thing.
