"And do you now begin to see why Christianity has always said that the devil is a fallen angel? That is not a mere story for the children. It is a real recognition of the fact that evil is a parasite, not an original thing. The powers which enable evil to carry on are powers given it by goodness."

Randomness on entertainment stuff . . .

We went to see Horton Hears a Who last week. Thank goodness for G-rated kids movies, a rare breed in Hollywood these days. And it was fantastic. I recommend it highly.

We also saw for the first time this weekend Enchanted, and it was quite good also. The girls absolutely loved it and watched it another five or six times during their bedtime "movie nights" before we sent it back to NetFlix today.

I thought last week's "Lost" episode was the weakest yet. But this season is still awesome and the break is gonna kill me.

Anybody still watching "Jericho"? Every stinking episode since the underwhelming premier has been rockin'. The storylines, the action, the pacing -- all great. Better than the first season, in my opinion, despite not having the same mystery mystique. Tomorrow night's season finale has come too soon.

I'm ready for "The Office" to come back.

We just watched Enchanted (it is funny because my husband wanted to buy it for our household of soon to be 5 boys....lol) Everyone loved it (well except for my 10yo - he hates kissing scenes). I thought it was the most adorable movie. The prince is hilarious in his over-the-top portrayal.

We have not seen Horton yet. I did finally get to see I Am Legend this weekend and that movie completely freaked me out. I thoroughly enjoyed it but was wigged out 2 nights trying to go to sleep.

I also agree that this last Lost episode wasn't as good as the others but it still rocks!! This is going to be a long month waiting for it to return.

Crud. I see today that they canceled "Jericho" again.
It doesn't pay to be a good show these days.

Yeah, I wasn't going to say anything, but I saw that this morning or last night.

Horton was very good. My kido’s teacher set up a meeting time for the kids to hang out with her for a movie day while on spring break. Darn those public school teachers who are so uncaring as to want to see them while on her vacation. ;-}

It was nice to see that they didn’t mess this one up like they did The Cat In The Hat.

I thought that Horton Hears a Who was a very well made movie and very entertaining , though I did not think that the Japanese animation was neccesary , I do highly reccomend this kids movie . I beg to differ , The Cat and the Hat was a very well made film . Enjoy Horton Hears a Who !
Enchanted was a very well done movie ... the acting was great . And I think that it was a good way to make a new fantasy story .

I see today that they canceled "Jericho" again.

I didn't realize that there was a chance it would go on. I thought they brought it back only for the 6 shows to tie up loose ends.

Not surprising that it wouldn't get renewed, or that it got canceled. It debuted with much fanfare, but landed with a thud. It then turned into a pretty decent show, but was canceled. The uproar brought it back, again with much fanfare. Again, it landed with a thud but I agree it's been darn good since.

I hadn't realized that tonight's was the end. I still haven't watched last week's!
