I did not know that. I'm glad. Yaaaay! I love that guy. (Just saw that he had a bit part in "Did you hear about the Morgans?")
Who else is still alive that you ummmmm, might not expect to be?

I was amazed, when Art Linkletter died a few weeks ago, to discover he'd been alive all the way up to that point.
For a whole different set of reasons, I'm amazed that Brittany Spears and Courtney Love haven't won a Darwin award (i.e., accidentally offed themselves).
I hear the complete list of folks like this can be found at "deadpool.com" (I've never been there). Apparently John Wooden was at the top of their list until recently.
Harper Lee, the writer of To Kill A Mockingbird is alive and in her late 80s, which I was surprised to discover recently.
Not dead, but kind of surprising: You know James Lipton, the Inside the Actors Studio guy (oft parodied by Will Ferrell)? He's in his late 80s, too. There is hair dye happening somewhere there.
Earl Scruggs, the creator of modern bluegrass-style banjo, is still alive, which isn't a huge deal, because he's only 86, but what IS a big deal is that his fingers can still move fast enough to play banjo.
I looked it up, it's actually thedeadpool.com......pretty interesting (and a tad morbid).......if you had John Wooden in the dead pool, you only got one point (100-99 years old) but if you had Gary Coleman, you got 58 points(100-42 years old)........Wilford Brimley is only listed currently on 8 lists (out of 341 top 20 most likely to die list entries)....by contrast, Abe Vigoda is on 43 lists

Don Rickles. He is 84, I believe. He's still working (best known these days for his excellent work as Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story series). He's also been married to the same woman for 45 years.
