1. Have you ever been told you look like a celebrity? Who? Back in the day, I resembled then Lady Diana. In college, I bore a resemblance to Glenn Close in her Basic Instinct crazy-long-haired look. Flattering, I know. I'm not sure I resemble anyone today.
2. If different from above, who should play you in a movie of your life? I have no clue.
3. What movie character do you most identify with? From TV, I most identify with Chloe on 24. Only I wish I had her technical know-how.
4. What literary character do you most identify with? Elizabeth Bennett in Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, although I'm probably more like her crass mother in reality.
5. What musician or vocal artist do you most identify with? As a singer, I've been told I sound a lot like a blend of Stevie Nicks and Kate Pierson (of the B-52s). I'm not sure about that - I think I'm more a blend of Amy Grant and Twila Paris.
6. What biblical figure do you most identify with? A combo of Peter and Paul - the knuckleheadedness of Peter with the rules abider Paul.
7. What animal best represents you? Dog - loving and loyal.
8. What meal or dish best represents you? Mashed potatoes - hearty, comforting
9. What drink best represents you? Sweet iced tea - sweet and tangy
10. What shirt, dress, outfit, or other piece of apparel most reflects who you are? Outfit - jeans and a sweater/sweatshirt - comfort is key.
1. People always used to tell me "You look like that lady - the one in the sitcom...you know... She was married to that guy..." And no one ever remembered the name of the lady, the show...nothing. Happened many times. Sheesh.
2. I hate to say it -but Janeane Garofalo. Her character in The Truth About Cats and Dogs was quite a bit like me. Short. Smart. Cute rather than beautiful. Not the one most likely to get the guy. In real life, however, she is NOTHING like me - except for the short part.
3. One that I really identified with growing up was Mary Stuart Masterson's character in Some Kind Of Wonderful. I was always the slightly outcast character with a bad case for her best guy friend... Oy. I'm glad that's over!
4. Jen took mine!! Let's see...another one would be Molly in Wives and Daughters. Honest and Loyal. Hates conflict but has a flashpoint temper. Not the one you notice first and a party - but I just might grow on ya. I'm also a fair candidate to be a hobbit. Short, friendly, barefoot, loves good food and giving presents...
5. I sing a lot of Josh Groban neo-opera type stuff. I sound a lot like Sandi Patti or Sarah Brightman. (seriously - I do.)
6. Thank God for PETER. Good ole impulsive, foot in the mouth, probably had ADD Peter. Peter who said "Where else are we going to go Lord - you have the words of life". Yup. That's me.
7. Dolphin - water loving and playful.
8. Spicy Caribbean chicken with mango. An unexpected combination of qualities that can be appealing.
9. BLACK coffee- makes an impression. You either like it or you don't.
10. Comfy jeans that are ratty at the bottom because the wearer is too short and doesn't wear shoes. Black feminine cut t-shirt, hopefully unstained but don't count on it.
1. If Napoleon Dynamite counts...then yes, a thousand times. And no, it isn't true.
2. Kiefer Sutherland
3. Anybody except Napoleon Dynamite (I really liked the movie and still do, in case anybody was wondering...the constant comparison drives me insane though)
4. Sometimes Ivan Karamazov...not because of intellect but because of his inner conflict. His conversation with the Devil reminded me of several nights over the past couple years. But I don't feel like that anymore. I feel like a Hazel Motes sometimes though.
5. John Stirrat of Wilco. Playing another person's songs and loving every minute of it.
6. Pre-Acts Peter. Though I waver and waver and waver, Jesus still hasn't given up on me.
7. A lamb
8. A grilled jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon and stuffed with melted cheese
9. Sunkist
10. Jeans, Plain T-Shirt and a jacket

What literary character do you most identify with?
Mr. Tumnus from the Narnia chronicles. But my wish would be to be Sam from the LOTR. Just don't think I can fill those shoes (plus, hobbits don't wear shoes).

Andrew, I was told I sounded like a combination of those two singers at a wedding. I sang during the ceremony and he came up to me after to tell me that. It was the weirdest compliment I've ever gotten and it made me laugh hard.

2. If different from above, who should play you in a movie of your life?
Hmmm. Zach Braff.
3. What movie character do you most identify with?
All the Baxters, which are the "everyday Joes" in all those romantic comedies who get ditched for the lead male. Like Bill Pullman in "Sleepless in Seattle" or Greg Kinnear in "You've Got Mail." Maybe also Duckie in "Pretty in Pink." And a touch of Adam Sandler's character in "Punch-Drunk Love."
4. What literary character do you most identify with?
If you've read the books, this may sound terrible, but right now I'm saying Harry Angstrom in John Updike's Rabbit Novels. I've just finished the third and haven't read the fourth, but something resonates with me strongly in that character and in those books. I haven't done any of the yucky things Rabbit has done, but something about the white, male, modern suburban angst, the upstanding fortitude and the unmitigated selfishness, the tensions between Christian virtue and lustful depravity, the emasculation and the unchecked masculinity really hits me in my darkest heart. So, yeah, I say Rabbit.
5. What musician or vocal artist do you most identify with?
I'm going to say Cliff Young of Caedmon's Call, not just because I love their music, but because he's another one I sort of resemble physically. Especially when I've got my glasses on instead of contacts and am wearing a cap.
